Misty Christopher

Misty began dancing at the age of two and opened her own studio at the age of 16. Since then she has owned and operated her own dance studio & taught for 36 years. Misty teaches all forms of dance, with tap, musical theatre, jazz and lyrical being her favorites. Misty received training at Kent State University, Point Park College and the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre program. Misty holds certificates to teach and LIFE memberships with Dance Masters of Ohio, Dance Masters of America and Dance Educators of America. Misty and her Mom have many past students who have won numerous dance titles. After moving to the Florida area 21 years ago, Misty taught at the Cypress Lake Center for the Performing Arts in Ft Myers, as well as local dance studios and high schools choreographing for dance teams and musicals. She has also coordinated area preschool dance programs at local day cares. Misty will continue to share not only her expertise in dance but her love of the arts with all her students.
