CLASS DRESS CODE
All classes have a dress code. Information is broken down by age group and class.
Our studio dance shop sells the brands of shoes recommended for each class as well as leotards.
Proper shoes and attire are required for each class.
AGES 3 TO 4 and 5 TO 7 YEARS
PRE- AND KINDER
Ballet:
• Pink Logo Leotard (Leotards must be purchased from Dance Dimensions)
• Tan/Pink Tights (pink preferred)
• Pink ballet shoes (no black ballet shoes and no slippers or vinyl shoes)
Tap:
• Pink logo leotard (Leotards must be purchased from Dance Dimensions)
• Tan/pink tights
• Tan tap shoes
Jazz:
• Pink Logo Leotard (Leotards must be purchased from Dance Dimensions)
• Tan/pink tights
• PRE: Pink ballet shoes (no slippers or vinyl shoes)
• KINDER: Tan jazz shoes
Hip Hop:
• Pink Logo Leotard (Leotards must be purchased from Dance Dimensions)
• High or low top tennis shoes (can start with regular tennis shoes)
Acro:
• Pink Logo Leotard (Leotards must be purchased from Dance Dimensions)
• No shirts are to be worn and no 2-piece outfits
PRIMARY and
INTERMEDIATE
AGES 8 TO 12 YEARS
Ballet:
• Black Leotard
• Tan/Pink Tights (pink preferred)
• Pink ballet shoes (ballet shoes must be all leather
no vinyl)
• Hair in a bun
Tap:
• Black Leotard
• Tan/pink tights
• Tan tap shoes
Jazz:
• Black Leotard
• Tan/pink tights
• Tan split sole jazz boots
Hip Hop:
• Black Leotard
• Shorts/Leggings or appropriate dancewear
• High or low top tennis
shoes or hip-hop shoes
Acro:
• Black biketard or black leotard with shorts Barefoot or jazz shoes
• No shirts are to be worn and no 2-piece outfits
TEEN AND ADVANCED
AGES 12 AND OLDER
Ballet:
• Black Leotard
• Tan/Pink Tights (pink preferred)
• Pink ballet shoes (All leather split sole only)
• Hair in a bun
Tap:
• Appropriate dancewear
• Tan/pink tights
• Tan oxford tie tap shoes
Jazz:
• Black leotard
• Tan/pink tights
• Tan split-sole jazz boots
Hip Hop:
• Black Leotard
• Shorts/Leggings or appropriate dancewear
• High or low top tennis shoes (can start with regular tennis shoes)
All Classes:
• All hair must be up and away from the face.
• No large or excessive amounts of jewelry should be worn in classes.
Acro:
• Biketard or leotard with shorts Barefoot or jazz shoes
• No shirts are to be worn and no 2-piece outfits
